I built my own brand. Then everyone started asking who made it.

I didn't set out to be a designer. I was a speech therapist opening a private practice, and building my own logo and website turned out to be the part I loved most. Then a therapist friend asked if I'd help with hers. Then another one.

2000's

the creative kid

My mom didn't limit screens (thank you, Mom). So I grew up making videos and writing stories on our desktop. By college, I was building websites for anyone who asked. It never occurred to me it could be a job.

2021

started my practice

I launched Sweet Talk Speech Therapy and hit the wall every private practice owner hits. I needed a brand. I needed a website. For most therapists that's the overwhelming part. For me it was the fun part.

2022

Something New was born

Therapists kept asking who did my branding. Turns out there weren't many designers who understood the therapy world, and every one of my friends was tired of explaining it. So I started helping. My side project had a name before I really meant for it to.

Now

300+ brands & websites later

Something New is my full time job now, and most of it happens during nap time. I still own Sweet Talk and oversee a team of therapists there, but these days I spend more time designing than I ever expected to. The best part is that I built something that lets me be present for all of it.
